Skin concern

Pigmentation

Pigmentation can appear as dark marks, uneven tone, sun-related patches, post-breakout marks or areas of discolouration that make the skin look less even. It is a common concern, but it needs careful assessment because different types of pigmentation respond to different approaches.

At Arziki, we consider your skin tone, pigmentation pattern, triggers and treatment history before recommending a plan. The aim is to improve the appearance of uneven tone while protecting the skin barrier and reducing the risk of further pigmentation.

Pigmentation guidance at Arziki Aesthetics

What this can look like

  • Dark marks after spots or irritation
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Sun-related pigmentation
  • Brown or grey-brown patches
  • Pigmentation around the cheeks, forehead, upper lip or jawline
  • Skin that marks easily after inflammation

What may contribute to it

Pigmentation may be linked to sun exposure, inflammation, acne, hormonal changes, heat, irritation, skin trauma, genetics or unsuitable products and treatments.

How Arziki approaches Pigmentation

We assess the type and depth of pigmentation as far as clinically possible, then plan treatments carefully. For some clients, pigment control and skincare preparation are needed before active treatment. For others, a course of peels, microneedling, mesotherapy or light-based treatment may be considered.

What to expect from your journey

Pigmentation usually improves gradually. Results depend on the type of pigmentation, how long it has been present, skin tone, sun exposure, aftercare and maintenance. Daily sun protection and trigger management are essential parts of the plan.
